Please join the Maryland-Asia Environmental Partnership (MD-AEP) on Tuesday, October 27 at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland as we highlight one of Maryland’s great sources of environmental science services and applications, I.M. Systems Group (IMSG). IMSG works on behalf of the U.S. government and private sector to provide environmental monitoring & conservation, data analysis, coastal management, remote sensing and data management among other services. IMSG’s scientific environment and climate change work is world renown as they have been called upon by various Asian environmental authorities to provide guidance and expertise on such issues as coastal sea rise, depleted fisheries, coral bleaching, among others.

• IMSG’s Chief Executive Officer Vance Hum will discuss the firm’s portfolio of resources to address global climate change in collaboration with various U.S. and Asian partners.
• IMSG’s Chief Operating Officer Dr. Paul Chan, former NASA Scientist, will discuss IMSG’s analysis of satellite data regarding climate change and how he and interprets it regarding the earth’s land, atmosphere, ocean and climate.
