Al Goodman is a Principal with Camp Dresser & McKee ("CDM") working on global industrial wastewater projects and is based in the New Albany, IN - Louisville, KY area. He has been President of A. W. Goodman & Associates, Inc., consulting firm for 20 years. He is also Past President of the international Water Environment Federation with 40,000 members worldwide, and Past President of the Indiana Water Environment Association.
He served as Past President of several other professional environmental organizations (including
the Southern Indiana Operators Association) and chaired over 14 wastewater and environmental
committees.
Goodman has his college degree in chemistry, and is a Class IV and Class D Indiana and
Kentucky certified wastewater plant operator. He is a registered Professional Engineer in 3
states, and a licensed Indiana plumber.
He has 32 years of wastewater experience including on-site design, plant operations, industrial
treatment, operations training and troubleshooting and expert litigation. He has assisted several
US states and foreign countries in water and wastewater improvement programs including
Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Brazil, and Indonesia and Malaysia.
